Villanova Runs away from Towson

Villanova PA On Sunday November 17 from The Pavilion on the campus of Villanova University, an interconference matchup took place as Villanova Wildcats took on Towson Tigers in the 1st round of Battle 4 Atlantis. Both teams came into game undefeated as Villanova was 2-0 while Towson was 3-0. Villanova came into game off a win over Mount St Mary’s & Towson came into game off a win over Temple. The game was televised nationally on Fox Sports 1 with Mike Corey & Stu Jackson calling the action while it was broadcasted locally on CBS Sports Radio 610 with Ryan Fannon & Whitey Rigsby calling the action.
Towson won the opening tip to start the game, the games first points came from Villanova JayVaughn Pinkston from the foul line as he was fouled going to the basket, makes both of them. Towson got on the board when Timajh Parker-Rivera scores two point from a layup. Villanova had everything going for them in the first half as they took a 42-20 lead at halftime.
Things would get even worse for Towson in the second half as they could not get back into the game as Villanova defense was very tight through the entire game, Villanova James Bell had a mother dunk early in the 2nd half, Villanova would run away with this game as they beat Towson 78-44.
