(Villanova PA) on Saturday September 28 from Villanova Stadium on the Campus of Villanova University, the Villanova Wildcats Hosted the Penn Quakers in a Big 5 Showdown. Late in 1st Quarter, Villanova was up 7-0 & Penn was driving down the field & they attemped a field Goal which got Blocked & Craig James picked it up and returned it 74 yards for a touchdown to give Villanova a 14-0 lead. Villanova would win 35-6 & in the process give Villanova Head Coach Andy Talley his 200th coaching win at Villanova.

Game four of the season had the Villanova Wildcats hosting the Penn Quakers. Even though Penn has not won , in many years against the ‘Cats, most games have been close.. not so this time. With Villanova leading 7-0, the Quakers tried a 35 yard field goal…it was blocked by Rakim Cox and gobbled up by Craig James, who returned it for a 73 yard touchdown.
This helped propel the ‘Cats to a convincing 35-6 win and improve to 2 and 2 on the season. QB John Robertson and running back Kevin Monagai each rushed for over 100 yards and Poppy Livers caught two TD passes as Andy Talley recorded his 200th win as Villanova head coach. The game featured a battle between two coaches who each had over 200 career wins Talley and Al Bagnoli.
Villanova goes back to CAA play hosting William & Mary, Saturday at 1PM at Villanova Stadium.
