UPSET at UFC 193 as Holly Holm Knocks Out Ronda Rousey

Melbourne, Australia: The Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) world came to Etihad Stadium in Melbourne, Australia for a very big main event for the UFC Women’s Bantamweight Championship as Ronda Rousey defended her championship against Holly Holm, Rousey enters the fight with a record of 12-0 and off a knockout win over Bethe Correia in August 15. Holly Holm comes into the fight with a record of 9-0 and coming off a unanimous Decision victory over Marion Reneau back in July 2015.
In the first round both fighters would feel each other out and Holm would land some monster shots that would just rock Ronda and she had no idea what was going as Rousey last 3 fights went a combined 64 seconds, Holm would light up Rousey with some big shots and as the first round came to an end, Rousey mouth was all bloody and was breathing very hard. In Round 2, Holly continued with the attack on Rousey and Holm would finish Rousey with a brutal head kick that would knock Ronda Rousey OUT at 59 seconds into the second round to claim the UFC bantamweight title. This would turn out to be one of the biggest upsets to happen in UFC History. UFC Analyst Joe Rogan summed it up saying that “Holm Fought the Perfect fight” A record crowd of 56,214 saw the upset of Ronda Rousey
After the fight, UFC President Dana White said that Ronda Rousey went to the Hospital for observation
