Memphis defeats Temple at Buzzer

Philadelphia PA: On Friday November 7 from Lincoln Financial Field in South Philadelphia, Primetime College Football took center stage as Temple Owls hosted Memphis Tigers in American Athletic Conference action. Temple comes into game off a big win over 23rd ranked East Carolina while Memphis comes into game off a win over Tulsa. The game was broadcasted Nationally on ESPNU with Eamon McAnaney, Dan Hawkins calling the action.
Temple won the toss & deferred to 2nd half, Memphis went 3 & out on the opening drive of the game, on temple 1st drive of game, they drive down and kicked a 43 yard field goal for the early 3-0 lead. The next drive by Memphis got down as the Temple 30 yard line and they would miss a 45 yard field goal. The next drive by Temple only went 2 plays as Kenny Harper took it to the house for 75 yards and a 10- lead for Temple. Both Teams would struggle to move the ball in the 2nd quarter. Memphis would block Temple Punt in the 2nd quarter in Temple 31 yardline, Memphis would kick a 42 yard field goal to get on the board to cut the Temple lead to 10-3. Temple took a 10-3 lead at Halftime.
Temple got ball to begin the 2nd half, both teams had hard time moving the ball in the 3rd quarter. Late in the 3rd quarter, Temple would Fumble a Memphis punt and Memphis would kick a 27 yard field goal for a 13-10 lead for their 1st lead of the game. Temple would drive down late in the 4th quarter and tie the game with a 46 yard field goal with 2:40 left in the 4th. Memphis drives down and scored the game winning field goal with no time left and Memphis defeats Temple 16-13
