Soul dethrone the Gladiators in Physical Game

Philadelphia PA: One of the top rivalries in Arena Football took center stage at the Wells Fargo Center in South Philadelphia on Saturday afternoon as the Philadelphia Soul hosted Cleveland Gladiators, the Soul come into game with a 2-1 record and off a knockout win over Portland on April 17 while Gladiators enter contest against the Soul with a 1-2 record and off a ugly loss to Los Angeles on April 16.
Soul won the toss and deferred to 2nd half, Cleveland starts game with ball and they would score on their opening drive as QB Danni Havrilla runs it in from 2 yards out for 7-0 lead, the Soul would answer the Gladiators score as QB Dan Raudabaugh connected with Shaun Kauleinamoku to tie the game at 7. Both teams would exchange touchdowns and the Soul would make some costly mistakes which included two missed extra points and had some bad penalties, Soul would score touchdown late in the 2nd quarter to cut into the lead as Cleveland would take a 28-26 lead into halftime. This game had some big hits in the first half it would set the scene for an exciting action filled 2nd half.
The Soul would start the 2nd half with the ball and they would score right away as Darius Reynolds would score from 13 yards out for his 3rd of the game to give the Soul their first lead of the game at 32-28, Cleveland would not take long to answer back as they would score touchdown to retake the lead. The turning point in this game was the Cleveland QB would throw 3 interceptions and QB Danni Havrilla would get knocked out of the game. The Soul would take over and throw some big shots to secure the game as Raudabaugh would throw touchdowns to Kauleinamoku, McDaniel & Duvalt as the Soul would dethrone the Gladiators 67-50 in front of a crowd of 7,057. Win the win the Soul improve to 3-1 on the season and their next test would be on May 1 when they travel to Los Angeles, while Cleveland falls to 1-3 on the season and get a quick turnaround as they host Orlando on April 29.
