Friday Night Lights: St. Joseph’s Prep Dominates Roman Catholic 37-7

It was the first night of the Wired 965, Friday Night Lights Tour, St. Joseph’s Prep put on a clinic against Roman Catholic, winning 37-7 in a Class AAAA match-up Saturday night in Catholic league football action.

Coach Gabe Infante led Prep to the big win, which was propelled by four touchdowns in the second quarter. The Hawks, who are now ranked third in Southeastern Pennsylvania by the Philadelphia Inquirer, now better their record to an impressive 4-0.

Roman Catholic scored in the first quarter, but St. Joseph’s defense was lights out after that. From there, the Prep offense rallied for 37 unanswered points on their way to the win.

The next tour stop will be on October 6, 2012 when Cheltenham High School will face Upper Dublin High School at 7:00pm.
