Philadelphia Soul knockdown the VoooDoo

Philadelphia PA: The Playoffs are around the corner for the Arena Football league and the Philadelphia Soul are going into the playoffs as the top seed in the conference. the Soul hosted the New Orleans Voodoo to end their home schedule for the regular season. The Soul entered the game with a record of 13-3 and off their bye week and off  a bad loss to the Jacksonville on July 18 while New Orleans comes into the game with record of 3-12 &  off a win over Tampa Bay also on July 18.

New Orleans won the toss and they deferred to the 2nd half, Soul started the game with ball and they would on the opening drive when QB Dan Raudabaugh found Tommy Taggart for 7-0 lead, then Soul stop VooDoo on 4th down and they make them pay as Marco Thomas for a 14-0 lead at the end of the 1st quarter. New Orleans would get on the board in the 2nd quarter with Touchdown from Rodger Jackson from 15 yards to cut the Soul lead to 7 at 14-7.  Things got very nasty as New Orleans Kwame Jordan would throw a sucker punch at Soul WR Ryan McDaniel, then he would get tossed from the game and the Soul would make them pay as Tommy Taggart would score his 2nd of game for a 20-7 lead. New Orleans would get a touchdown back to make this game very close as the Soul still lead 20-14. Tommy Taggart would score his 3rd touchdown of game for a 27-14. The Soul would continue to add on to their lead and take a 40-21 lead into the 4th quarter. The Soul would add additional 21 points for a 61-28 win and finish off the home schedule undefeated for the 1st time in franchise history. The next time the Soul play at the Wells Fargo Center is the first round of the playoffs on Saturday August 15 at 5PM.
