Matt Howard leads Penn to Ivy League Tournament

Philadelphia PA: It is always an emotional night when you honor your senior players and with your postseason hopes on the line and that is what took place on Saturday night from the Cathedral of College Basketball, at the Palestra as Penn Quakers took on Harvard Crimson. A Win by Penn would clinch their spot in the 1st every Ivy league Tournament. Penn comes into game with (12-14, 5-8 in Ivy League) and off a loss to Dartmouth on March 3 while Harvard comes to battle against against Quakers with (18-8, 10-3 in Ivy League) and off a loss to Princeton also on March 3.
Harvard won tip to start the game and Penn would open the scoring on basket by Matt Howard for early 2-0 lead, Harvard got on the board with basket by Siyani Chambers which tied the game at 2. Penn would jump out to a 8 point lead at 19-11 with 10:08 left, Matt Howard would score 11 of the 19 points. Harvard would rally back and they would take their 1st lead on dunk by Zena Edosomwan for 23-21 lead with 6:05 left. Harvard would take a 35-31 lead into halftime.
The 2nd half of this game would be very exciting as both teams would exchange baskets as it would very tight the entire half. Harvard would lead by 6 at 58-52 with 7:39 left and Penn would grind their way back and they would retake the lead on basket by Matt Howard with 5:42 left. Harvard would tie the game at 72 on 2 foul shots by Bryce Aiken with 20 seconds left. Penn would come down and Jackson Donahue hits monster 3 pointer that gave Penn the lead and they would hold on for an 75-72 win and in the process make the 1st ever Ivy League Tournament.
Final Play as Penn wins to make the Ivy League Tournament:
Win the win, Penn goes to (13-14, 6-8 in Ivy League) and now will play Princeton in the 1st semifinal of the Ivy league Tournament on March 11 at 1:30 PM on ESPNU and with the loss, Harvard falls to (18-9, 10-4 in Ivy League) and will play Yale in the 2nd Semifinals on march 11 at 4PM on ESPNU.
