#7 Louisville Beats Temple 30-7

(Philadelphia PA) On Saturday October 5 from Lincoln Financial Field in South Philadelphia, The Temple Owls took on Number 7 & Undefeated Louisville Cardinals. Louisville came into game on an bye week, Temple comes in off a loss to Idaho. The game was broadcasted regionally on ESPN Regional (on 6ABC in Philly) with Eamon McAnaney, Anthony Becht calling the action, it was also broadcasted on TalkRadio 1210 WPHT with Harry Donahue & Paul Palmer calling the action.
Temple won the toss & deferred to 2nd half, The cardinals would take over the entire 1st half, Temple defense could not get the cardinals off the field. They would score on every drive & would take a 24-0 lead into halftime. The Cardinals had touchdown drives of 79, 85 & 81 in 1st Half. In the 2nd half temple would finally stop the cardinals for them to punt it away for the 1st time in the game.
Late in the 4th quarter, Temple finally gets on the board when P.J. Walker connects with Jalen Fitzpatrick for a 9 yard touchdown. Final Score Cardinals beat Owls 30-7 in front of 21,709. Temple now gets ready for a Friday night encounter with Cincinnati at 8PM.
