LeSean McCoy Celebrity Basketball Game “ShadyWeekend”

Aston PA: On Saturday July 12 from Mirenda Center  on the campus of Neumann University, Philadelphia Eagles RB LeSean McCoy put on an exciting event for his charity called “Shady Weekend”  his charity “Shades of Greatness, Inc.”-The LeSean McCoy Foundation is dedicated to promoting the empowerment of people in the communities of Pennsylvania, protecting its environments, respecting cultural diversity, and raising funds for the fight against Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (“ALS”). This volunteer organization is established to assist communities at-risk and to bring an awareness of the deadly neurodegenerative disease ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease). Shady WeekendThe Event was a celebrity basketball game which featured a lot of celebrities, but the most notable ones that showed up were

  7. one of the Harlem Globetrotters

LeSean McCoy had his shot going early on from three point range and also had some nice passes, Nelly would have some nice passes and put on a nice move for a layup.  DeSean Jackson had it going on also, making a lot of shots plus he had a couple 1 handed dunks, there was a couple times that DeSean Jackson went one on one against LeSean McCoy and both would burn each other. Cleveland Cavaliers Dion Waiter had a couple good shots during the game and he would have some good dunks but he would also front rim one dunk and the MC said “TIMEOUT, Substitution” in other words, get him out. other one went for 22 points to tie the game early in the 2nd half. The Team lead by DeSean Jackson would beat LeSean McCoy by 2 points . Overall the game was an amazing success for the charity and for Neumann University
