Josh Hart on Decision to come back to Villanova for Senior Season “I enjoyed the process and learned a lot, It was definitely worthwhile. I look forward to graduating next year and coming back to play with my teammates”
Josh was one of the key pieces that helped Villanova winning the 2016 NCAA National Championship over North Carolina back on April 4 at NRG Stadium in Houston TX. Hart scored 23 points with eight rebounds in a 95-51 NCAA Final Four victory over Oklahoma.
Villanova Coach Jay Wright about Josh Hart Returning “Josh Hart did a great job in this process, I’m really proud of the way that he showed himself. I am really happy for him that he is returning to play with his classmates and that he will graduate on time”
With Josh returning, also his teammate Kris Jenkins also faced the same decision and Jenkins would announce on May 2 that he would return to Villanova for his Senior season as well. So Villanova is now one of the favorites to repeat as National Champions for the 2016-17 season even though they lose Daniel Ochefu and Ryan Arcidiacono.
