Jordan Price & LaSalle takes down George Mason 76-68

Philadelphia PA: Atlantic 10 basketball came to Tom Gola Arena on the campus of LaSalle University on Saturday for a very interesting game as the LaSalle Explorers took on the George Mason Patriots. LaSalle entered the game against George Mason with a record of (6-20, 2-13 in A-10) and off a tight loss to Fordham on February 24 while George Mason comes into game with a (10-18, 4-11 in A-10) record and off a win over VCU also on February 24.
LaSalle won the tip to start the game and the games first points came from LaSalle Amar Stukes for the early 2-0 lead and George Mason got on the board from 1/2 foul shots by Jaire Grayer. The Patriots would take their first lead of the game on basket by Marko Gujanicic for 3-2 lead at 17:40 left in 1st half, they would increase the lead to 13-9 with 13:22 left. LaSalle would answer back by going on a run and retake the lead at 17-16 on 3 pointer by Jordan Price, Explorers would increase the lead up to 11 points at 37-26, LaSalle would take a 37-29 lead into halftime.
Explorers got ball to start the 2nd half and they would continue to increase their lead but George Mason would make this a very tight game, both teams would have some good chances to stick it to the other team but they could not take advantage. Patriots Otis Livingston would cut the Explorers lead down to 6 at 67-61 with 2:12 left then LaSalle Jordan Price would hit a dagger three pointer to make it 72-61 with 1:38 left as LaSalle would hold on for a 76-68 win over George Mason. This was a better effort by LaSalle in closing out the game after they way they looked int he loss to Fordham on Wednesday night. Win the win, LaSalle goes to (7-20, 3-13 in A-10) and George Mason falls to (10-19, 4-12 in A-10).
