Jamel Herring defeats Luis Eduardo Flores on PBC on FS1

Bethlehem, PA. The Boxing World came to the Sands Bethlehem Event Center in Bethlehem, PA on Tuesday night for another addition of “Toe to Toe Tuesday’s” as Jamel Herring took on Luis Eduardo Flores. Jamel Herring entered the fight with a undefeated record of 14-0 with 8 KO’s and off a 10 round unanimous decision win over Yakubu Amidu back in October 2015 at U.S. Bank Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio while Luis Eduardo Flores comes into fight with record of 21-2 17 KO’s and off a 8th round unanimous decision win over Gustavo Sandoval back in April 2015 from Coliseo Elias Chegwin, Barranquilla, Colombia.
The fights were broadcasted on FOX Sports 1 part of the Premier Boxing Champions series with Brian Custer & 2 Philadelphia fighters in Danny “Swift” Garcia & Steve “USS” Cunningham calling the action.
In the first round, it was a feeling out process for both fighters to see how the entire fight would go and you can tell right from the start that Jamel Herring was in control. In the 5th round, Herring would drop Flores 2 times and Flores had no response, the fight would go all 10 rounds and the judges scored it (99-89 100-88 100-88) as Jamel Herring defeated Luis Eduardo Flores by unanimous decision. With the win, Herring goes (15-0, 8 KOs) while Flores falls to (21-3, 17 KOs).
The other fights that FS1 showed was Alex Martin defeated Rossemberth Gomez by 8 round unanimous decision Judges scored it 80-72, 79-73, 79-73, Martin remains undefeated at (12-0, 5 KOs) while Gomez falls to (17-5-1, 13 KOs). In the Co Main Event it showed Raynell Williams took down Gabriel Tolmajyan in a 8 round unanimous decision win as the judges scored it 78-74, 79-73, 79-73. With the win, Williams goes to 11-0 (5 KOs) and with the loss, Tolmajyan falls to (14-5-2, 3 KOs).
