Inter Milan Defeats AS Roma in International Champions Cup

Philadelphia PA: On Saturday August 2 from Lincoln Financial Field in South Philadelphia, international soccer took center stage as AS Roma took on Inter Milan in the International Champions Cup. AS Roma comes into match off a win over Real Madrid while Inter Milan comes off a Loss to Manchester United. Eagles Head Coach Chip Kelly & QB Matt Barkley and Showtime Boxing Analyst Paulie Malignaggi were in attendance for the game. The Game was broadcasted on FOX Sports 2 with Mark Rogondino, Cobi Jones & Heather Mitts calling the action.

Inter Milan Starting Lineups:

As Roma would start the game with the ball. About 10 minutes into the game, AS Roma loses Leandro Castan who went down with a leg injury and Mehdi Benatia replaces Castan in 13th Minute. Latter on in the 1st half it was announced that Leandro Castan has a Right Thigh Contusion and he did not return to the game. The Game would remain Scoreless late in the 1st half until Inter Milan Nemanja Vidic would put one past the AS Roma Goalie for the 1-0 lead at halftime.
Things would continue in the 2nd half as both teams had some great scoring changes. Inter Milan would increase their lead to 2-0 on goal by Yuto Nagamoto in the 69th minute. There was at total of 2 Yellow cards in the game both going to AS Roma by Mattia Destro & Arturo Calabresi. Inter Milan would hold on for a 2-0 Win and there was 12,169 in attendance.
