Flyers Sign Vincent Lecavalier to 5 Year Deal

Every year the Philadelphia Flyers Try to make a big Splash in NHL Free Agency, The Flyers did this year when the Flyers sign veteran C Vincent Lecavalier to a 5-year/$22.5M deal. The 33-year-old Lecavalier spent 14 seasons in the NHL, all with the Tampa Bay Lightning, where he has posted 383 goals and 491 assists for 874 points in 1,037 regular season games, In the Playoffs, he posted 52 points (24 goals-28 assist) in 63 Stanley Cup Playoff games, including nine goals and 16 points to help lead the Lightning to the Stanley Cup Championship in 2004 . Last Season for the Lighting, Lecavalier had 10 Goals, 22 Assists for 32 points.

Lecavalier was the No. 1 overall pick in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft.
