Donald Young Leads Freedoms in Comeback win over New York

Villanova PA: The term “Must win” was on the minds of the Philadelphia Freedoms as they enter their match against New York Empire on Wednesday Night from the Pavilion on the Campus of Villanova University while riding a 4 match losing streak and their playoff lives were on the line. This match featured former No 1 player in the world Andy Roddick who was playing for New York while Donald Young made his debut for the Philadelphia Freedoms. New York would take control in winning the 2,3,4 sets after losing the first set, Donald Young would take down Andy Roddick in the 5th & final set to force a¬†Supertiebreaker which Young takes down Roddick 7-3. A crowd of 3,267 saw an amazing tennis action as the Freedoms kept their playoff hops like with a 17-16 win over New York.
