ESPN Rob Parker: RG3 is a “Cornball Brother”?

admin Last updated on: February 17, 2024

It is official, ESPN’s Rob Parker is the biggest idiot on television. Yesterday morning on ESPN’s “First Take,” the conversation was about rookie Redskins QB, Robert Griffin III’s desire not to be referred to as a “black quarterback,” that his goal is to be the best QB, period. RGIII wants his work to define him, not the color of his skin.

“For me, you don’t ever want to be defined by the color of your skin,” Griffin said at the end of Wednesday’s post-practice news conference in reference to a question about Martin Luther King, Jr, via USA Today. “You want to be defined by your work ethic, the person that you are, your character, your personality. That’s what I’ve tried to go out and do.

“I am an African-American in America. That will never change. But I don’t have to be defined by that.”

Rob Parker, decided to go on a rant of how he is not a “real brother”. Rob mentioned that in conversations he’s observed in his Detroit area barbershop, “the bros” have questioned if RG3 is a “real brother” and not a “cornball.” He foolishly cited one of the things “the bros” used as evidence of his “cornball status,” the fact that RG3 is engaged to a white woman ironically named, Becky.

The problem in today’s society is that many human beings are being defined by the color of their skin; this is because a**wholes like Rob Barker bring them to that level. RG3 is well educated, and has a great work ethic…so this means he is not a real brother? So Rob what is a real brother (someone who is uneducated…doesn’t like to work…dates only African-American women)? We should be identified not by the color of our skin but by who we are and what we make of ourselves to be. Hopefully they take this idiot off of television, because he is a disgrace.
