Conor McGregor & Urijah Faber coaches for New Season of The Ultimate Fighter

Las Vegas NV: On Sunday night from the MGM Grand Garden Arena, the season finale of the Ultimate fighter took place and there was a lot of buzz going around the building after an amazing UFC 189 pay per view that took place on Saturday night also at the MGM Grand Garden arena.
During the season finale of The Ultimate Fighter, it was announced that Conor McGregor & Urijah Faber will be the new coaches on the 22nd edition of the UFC’s storied reality television series “The Ultimate Fighter”. The new season will feature 16 competitors in the lightweight division and, in addition to a UFC contract; national pride will be on the line as McGregor leads eight European hopefuls against the Faber-led American squad.
The new season of The Ultimate Fighter®: Team McGregor vs. Team Faber will air on FOX Sports 1 will kick-off on Wednesday, September 9 with a two-hour season premiere airing at 10 p.m. ET. The season will continue with 11 one-hour shows Wednesdays at 10 p.m.

Conor McGregor came into the UFC in 2013, McGregor (18-2) has taken the MMA world by storm. Declaring in July 2014 “we’re not here to take part; we’re here to take over” McGregor won the interim UFC featherweight title at UFC 189 on July 11,2015 by second-round TKO of Chad Mendes
Urijah Faber is a former WEC featherweight champion with record of (32-8) and been vocal in his disdain for McGregor. Long considered a pioneer for the lighter weight classes.
