Born Ready Wins $100,000 AND1 Remix Tournament

(Philadelphia PA) On Sunday September 1 from The Liacouras Center on the campus of Temple University, The championship game of AND1 Summer Remix took place between Summer Pro League against Born Ready. The Born Ready team was coach by Indiana Pacers Lance Stephenson. The Winning team gets $100,000, this was the biggest purse in any street ball tournament history. This event is part of AND1’s 20th anniversary celebration.
Born Ready starts the title game with the ball & they score the game first points from Richard Hill, Born Ready would open up a 10-0 lead in 1st quarter until Summer Pro League finally scores to get on board from Jahsha Bluntt for 3 late in 1st qtr. Born Ready leads 19-18 at end of 1st QTR. The same thing would happened in 2nd QTR, With 2:03 left 2nd QTR, Born Ready up 40-26 over Summer Pro League. Born Ready up 40-30 over Summer Pro League at halftime
The same thing would continue in the 2nd half as Born Ready up 58-47 at end of 3rd QTR. The 4th quarter was when the game changed, Summer Pro league would come back to Tie the game at 63 with 5:22 left 4th & then few minutes latter take their 1 lead since taking lead in 1st quarter, Born Ready would rally back and then take a 69-67 lead with 2:05 left 4th QTR & late in 4th, Born Ready Ricardo Hill hits a big basket & in the process getting fouled, make the foul shot to make it 72-69 Lead. Born Ready Holds on to 74-71 Win over Summer Pro League to win the $100,000 Purse. Osiris Eldridge “The Virus” was named tournament MVP & in the process wins $5,000 for being MVP.
