Bellator 120: Rampage vs. King Mo Preview

Southaven, MS: On Saturday May 17 from Landers Center in Southaven, MS. Bellator MMA (formerly known as “Bellator Fighting Championships”) will make its  inaugural Pay-Per View event and what a way to make your debut on pay per view then feature the long awaited grudge match between Quinton “Rampage” Jackson vs Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal for the Season 10 Light Heavyweight tournament final and the co feature is Bellator Interim Lightweight Title fight between Michael Chandler vs Will Brooks, also makes the in ring return of Tito “The Huntington Beach Bad Boy” Ortiz.

First off the main event. Both Rampage Jackson & King Mo come into the fight off wins at Bellator 110 in the semifinals, leading up to this fight, both guys want to destroy each other and that is why Bellator is calling this “long awaited grudge match” Rampage Jackson  record is (34-11) while King Mo record is (12-3).

The co main event is in interim Title fight between Michael Chandler taking on Will Brooks, Chandler was supposed to fight Eddie Alvarez  to end one of the most exciting trilogy in MMA history, now brooks take on season 9 winner Will Brooks for the interim title. Chandler comes into fight off a loss to Eddie Alarez back at Bellator 106 in November 2013 and Will Brooks comes into fight off a win over Alexander Sarnavskiy at Bellator 109 also in November 2013.  Michael Chandler comes into the fight with a record of (12-1) while Will Brooks record is (13-1)

The Other fight that will be featured on the Pay Per View is the return of “The Huntington Beach Bad Boy” Tito Ortiz as he takes on Alexander Shlemenko. Tito Ortiz last fought in 2012 in loss to Forrest Griffin at UFC 148 in July 2012 while Alexander Shlemenko comes into fight off a win over Brennan Ward at Bellator 114 on March 2014.  Alexander Shlemenko record is (50-7) while Tito Ortiz has a record of  (16-11-1). The action gets started on Spike TV at 7PM, then goes Live on Pay-Per View at 10PM EST
