The first fight that got the first annual Puerto Rican Boxing Classic was a 4 round  junior featherweight fight between Edgar Cortes vs. Antonio Conigliaro, this was a good fight to get things started, had some very good action as the fight would go the distance and the judges scored it 40-36, 39-37, 39-37 for  Edgar Cortes by UD. next fight was Avery Sparrow vs. Jerome Rodriguez, 6 rounds, lightweights, this was a very nasty and at times dirty fight to watch, both guys would throw some illegal shot, Avery Sparrow with a couple shots below the belt, The Referee would stop the fight in the 6th round and rule the fight a Disqualification win for Jerome Rodriguez, the crowd did not like the referee decision to stop the fight in the 6th round. The action continued on as Ismael Garcia took on Fred Jenkins Jr in a 4 round fight in middleweight division, Ismael Garcia drops Fred Jenkins Jr near end of round 1, fight goes the distance and Judges score it 40-35, 39-36, 39-36 as Ismael Garcia defeats Fred Jenkins Jr by UD. This next fight  was a interesting one as David Gonzalez vs. Ryan Belasco in 6 rounds, junior welterweights, David Gonzalez drops Ryan Belasco with a Massive left hand way in Round 1, David Gonzalez was in control of the fight until round 4 when Ryan Belasco drops David Gonzalez as round 4 comes to end, The fight went the distance and Judges score it 58-55, 58-54, 58-54 as David Gonzalez defeats Ryan Belasco by UD.

The Co Main Event was next as Philadelphia PA own Victor Vasquez took on Tyrell Samuel, 6 rounds, lightweights. Both fighters had some good shots on each other through the first three rounds of the fight, the turning point was the 4th round as  Tyrell Samuel would drop Victor Vasquez not 1 but 2 times, after the 2nd time, referee stops the fight and
Tyrell Samuel wins the fight by TKO  at 1:29 of 4th round.

The Main Event was next as Jason Sosa from Camden New Jersey take on Jorge Pazos, 8 rounds, junior lightweights. Jason Sosa was in full control of this fight from the opening bell landing some big shots and Jorge Pazos did not have a answer for him, The fight would make it to the 6th round where Sosa would drop Jorge Pazos and the referee would stop the fight as Sosa wins the fight by KO at 32 seconds into the round and in the process pick up his 13th straight
